Shock Stars hails from Chicago, Illinois and by way of Albany, New York, I met lead singer, Stubhy while he was in town
performing with his band, Lucky Boys Confusion seven years ago. I was in my first year of college at the time and
covering the concert for my school’s newspaper. I was scared out of my mind to interview the band--I hadn’t done
anything like that before! I did manage to stutter through my interview and hang out with the band afterward to see what
rock stars were like. That experience will always be etched in my mind, and Stubhy has remained a friend ever since.
From Lucky Boys Confusion and now to Shock Stars -- Stubhy’s talent is endless. Not only is he the lead singer for
Shock Stars, but he produces their music as well. No matter what your musical preference may be, you can’t listen to
Shock Stars’ music and tell me there’s something you hate about it. Fusing rock, electronica and pop makes for an
interesting sound with hard hitting beats, smooth, yet unique vocals and awesome lyrics!
Shock Stars is also made up of famous DJs Steve Smooth and JJ Flores along with Brian Lee, Brian Sherman & Joel
Maske.
